What needs to be done in the Apply-Leave section?

On Vibrant Web Dashboard, you can manage your Leaves through Leaves Section. Employees can avail Compensatory off (CO), Maternity Leave (ML), Paternity Leave (PL), Birthday Leave and Leave Without Pay (LWP) apart from their Leaves. To Apply for Leaves, you need to select the type of leaves, necessary dates, specify the reason in the comment box and click Apply.

The current balance of your leaves will reduce as soon as you apply the leave before consumption of the leave.

Compensatory off (CO)

If any vibrant is eligible for comp off, the system will generate a credit request. Compensatory off Credit request will be accounted only upon approval from Reporting Manager. In leave section, Comp-off option will be available to users once they are eligible. It has to be availed within a period of 90 days, else it will lapse.

Maternity Leave (ML)

Eligible female employees can avail maternity leave up to 84 days (India) and 5 days (US). It is necessary for female employees to have completed 6 months of service with the company.

Paternity Leave (PL)

Male employees can avail Paternity Leave up to 2 days (India) and 5 days (US).

Leave without Pay (LWP)

If there are no leaves in your balance, you can apply for LWP. LWP option will be visible to user in leave type list, only after user has applied for all available leaves and available leave balance is zero. When user has to apply a leave for more days than available leaves; two separate leave requests should be raised. I.e. first with leave-type Leave for number of days available and second with leave type LWP for remaining days.

Birthday Leave (BL)

All employees are eligible to 1 day leave on their Birthday, if it falls on a working day. It will not be considered if it falls on any National/ declared/festival holidays or Week Off days.
